From our apartment on Martinsplatz, you can easily walk to the family-friendly ski area on the sunny slope, and in just a few minutes you’ll reach the Ehrwald artificial ice rink, where fun and action await you.

Ehrwald and the Zugspitze region offer a wide range of options for a ski vacation—139 kilometers of slopes and 58 ski lifts. One ticket for 7 ski areas: the TOP SNOW CARD offers cross-border skiing fun across up to 205 kilometers of slopes, 89 lifts, and a free “Schnee-Express” train connection to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Cross country skiing
in the Zugspitze region
Picture-perfect mountain scenery, snow-covered natural landscapes... and in between, an extensive and perfectly groomed network of cross-country ski trails spanning over 110 km. Cross-country skiing for all skill levels; in addition to the classic track, a skating track is usually groomed as well, and you can also look forward to the snow-covered loop trail near the golf course and challenging high-altitude trails.

Many cycling vacationers greatly appreciate the beauty and cycling infrastructure of our region and choose to return time and again for an active vacation in Ehrwald.
